Suburban Man Charged In Car Crash That Left Woman Dead: Police

CHICAGO — A suburban Northbrook man has been charged in a West Ridge crash that left a woman dead.

At 1:15 p.m. July 20, Paul Szydlowski was driving a motorcycle in the 7300 block of North Western Avenue, "weaving in and out of lanes carelessly," when he collided with a Toyota Camry, according to a Chicago Police news release. The crash killed a 24-year-old woman.

Szydlowski had been driving in an "erratic manner," police said.

Szydlowski, 32, of 2800 block of Brindle Court in Northbrook, has been charged with reckless homicide, police said.
