Lee Martin, 43, Shot Dead In Garfield Park, Officials Say

CHICAGO — Lee Martin, 43, was shot to death in Garfield Park on Monday morning, officials said.

At 2:25 a.m., Martin was found by an officer on the sidewalk in the 3200 block of West Walnut Street, police said.

Martin, of the 6500 block of South Loomis Street, had been shot in his head and back and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

He was pronounced dead at 2:39 a.m. and an autopsy showed he died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

No arrests have been made.
