CHICAGO LAWN — Miguel Diaz, 28, was shot to death in Chicago Lawn on Monday, officials said.
At 2 p.m., Diaz was in the 3900 block of West 68th Street when he was shot in his head, said Officer Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
Diaz was taken to Advocate Christ Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, Tannehill said.
Diaz, of the 3900 block of West 68th Street, was pronounced dead at 5:10 p.m., according to Cook County Medical Examiner's Office records. An autopsy showed Diaz died of multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide.
