CHICAGO — Shootings in Englewood have left two men wounded since Friday night, police said.
• At 4 a.m. Saturday, a 34-year-old man was a passenger in a car stopped in the 300 block of West Marquette Road when a white sedan pulled up and someone inside the car fired shots, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was hit in his legs and was taken to Stroger Hospital. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Estrada said.
• At 9 p.m., a 20-year-old man was in the 6100 block of South Green street when he was shot in his left leg, police said.
The man took himself to St. Bernard Hospital and was transferred to Stroger Hospital, where he was in serious condition, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
No one was in custody in these shootings.
