CHICAGO — Two people have been killed and seven wounded in shootings since Thursday.

• At 6 a.m. Friday, a man in his 20s was found shot to death in Englewood.

• At 10:40 p.m. Thursday, a 17-year-old was shot and killed in South Chicago.

In non-fatal shootings:

• At 11 p.m. Thursday, a 17-year-old was shot in North Lawndale, police said. The teen was walking in the 1800 block of South Hamlin Avenue when someone walked out of a gangway and fired shots at him.

The teen was hit in his right arm. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in good condition, police said.

• At 10:55 p.m., a 19-year-old man and 16-year-old boy were shot in Austin, police said. The two were standing on the street in the 400 block of North Lavergne Avenue when a white sedan pulled up and someone inside the car fired shots.

The victims were hit in their right legs. They took themselves to West Suburban Hospital, where they were in good condition, police said.

The man and boy are documented gang members, police said.

• At 10:15 p.m., two people were shot and seriously wounded in Auburn Gresham.

• At 5:55 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was shot in North Lawndale, said Officer Michael Malinowski, a Chicago Police spokesman. The woman was traveling in a car in the 0-100 block of West 105th Street when someone fired shots at the car.

The woman was hit in her back and right side. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition, Malinowski said.

• At 2 p.m., a 15-year-old boy was shot and critically wounded in Pilsen.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

There was also two police-involved shootings on Thursday night. One of the shootings left a man dead, while a man was wounded in the other shooting.
