Man Shot With BB Gun On Near West Side

NEAR WEST SIDE — A 51-year-old man was shot with a BB gun while walking on the Near West Side early Sunday, police said.

At 12:20 a.m., the man was walking in the 2500 block of West Madison Street when he felt pain in his head and back, according to a police incident report.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed as "stable," police said.

Investigators later determined that the man had been shot with a BB gun, police said.

No one is in custody, police said.
