ANDERSONVILLE — A man was charged after a police raid unearthed a network of pot plants he was growing in his Andersonville home, police said.
At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, police executed a warrant to search the home of Michael Guiragossian, 53, in the 1400 block of West Gregory Street.
Inside they found "a significant number of cannabis plants and means of production," police said.
Guiragossian faces one felony charge of cannabis production and one misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Police said the operation was just across the street from Peirce Elementary School.
