Deandre Gray, 25, Killed In Roseland, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 25-year-old man was shot to death in Roseland on Saturday afternoon, police said.

At 1:35 p.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in the 10400 block of South Wentworth Avenue when a man walked up and fired shots at him, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was hit in his head. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in critical condition and was later pronounced dead, Estrada said.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as Deandre Gray, of the 10700 block of South Wentworth Avenue.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
