Auburn Gresham Shooting Wounds Man, 23, Police Say

CHICAGO — A 23-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham on Saturday, police said.

At 12:50 p.m., the man was walking in the 8000 block of South Laflin Street when he heard shots and felt pain, said Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.

The man was hit multiple times in his left leg and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not available but he was listed as "stable," Estrada said.

No one was in custody in the shooting.
