UPTOWN — This weekend will be one of the hottest of the year, but you don't need to bask in the AC all weekend.

Here are seven things to do in Uptown and Andersonville this weekend:

Go PokeCrazy At Andersonville Sidewalk Sale: Twenty-nine local businesses will line Clark Street with discounted goods as part of its annual sidewalk sale this weekend. The Andersonville Chamber of Commerce is also dropping PokemonGo lures at Pokestops around Clark Street throughout the sale. 5000-5800 North Clark Street. All day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Pharez Whitted Quintet at The Green Mill: Jazz trumpeter Pharez Whitted will bring his quintet, which includes Eddie Bayard on saxophone, Lovell Bradford on the keyboard, Jonathan Wood on bass and Greg Artry on drums, to the Green Mill for a jazz session Friday night. 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. 4802 N. Broadway. $15.

Burlesque at Uptown Underground: Kiss Kiss Cabaret and friends will take the stage at 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday. General admission tickets are $25 and premium reserved tickets are $40. 10 p.m. 4713 N. Broadway.

Sew At the Library: The Bezazian Branch of the Chicago Public Library will host Sarah's Sewing Circle, a bring your own material event hosted by Sarah Katharine Green. Green is a local seamstress, designer and couturier, who will advise and troubleshoot your project. 1226 W. Ainslie St. 2-3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Enjoy Some Close-Up Magic: Saturday, Uptown Underground will host the Chicago Magic Lounge, which takes attendees back to the days of old school magic bars. The Magic Lounge includes: close-up magic, bar magic, table hopping musicians and main stage acts. Tickets begin at $25. Saturday. 7:30 p.m. 4707 N. Broadway.

Buy Books For Cheap: Women and Children First Bookstore will host its annual used book sale Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. 5233 N. Clark St. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Walk With Your Pup For Pups: Sunday, PAWS Chicago will host their annual 5K, which allows you to walk with your pup or run alone, to help bring an end to the killing of homeless animals. The event also features: Rosie Rae the Pitbull, the Cutest dog award, a parade of adoptable dogs and a yoga cool down. Sunday. 9 a.m. Simmonds Drive and Montrose Avenue.
