NEAR WEST SIDE — Meet Geordie Dent, the man who led Sunday attendees at Pitchfork Music Festival in a flash mob dance marathon, after getting down for more than 30 minutes straight himself.
It's not the first time the corporate lawyer did it either — Dent said he inadvertently led a similar group dance at Pitchfork in 2015.
"He likes to dance, he really likes to dance," Dent's friend Pepe Garcia said while Dent led a crowd of festival-goers in synched, impromptu choreography.
Dent said he's inspired to dance freely and invites others to join him because "people don't really get to do it much" in their daily lives.
"People love to dance; any way I can help to facilitate that, it's nice," Dent said.
