Irving Park Shooting Wounds Man, 30, Standing On Sidewalk, Police Say

CHICAGO — A shooting early Thursday in Irving Park left a 30-year-old man wounded, police said.

At 2:55 a.m., the man was standing on the sidewalk in the 4200 block of North Kimball Avenue when a man walked up and fired shots at him, police said.

The victim was hit in the left knee. He was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital, where his condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," police said.

No one was in custody.
