CHICAGO — A Little Village man has been charged in a shooting from February, police said.
On Feb. 15, Giovanni Hernandez was in the 2700 block of South Pulaski Avenue when he shot an 18-year-old man several times with a handgun, according to a Chicago Police news release. The victim was critically wounded but survived.
Hernandez, 18, of the 2700 block of South Millard Avenue, was arrested Sunday, police said. He has been charged with aggravated battery, aggravated assault and aggravated discharge of a firearm.
Hernandez will appear in court on Tuesday.
