HYDE PARK — A staff member of the University of Chicago’s hospital was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday afternoon.
According to university police, the staffer was walking down 56th Street near Kimbark Avenue at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday when two people came up from behind.
One of the two pulled a handgun and then took the staffer’s bag and ran east down 56th Street.
University police have not released a description of either robber.
The victim was not hurt, police said.
