BUCKTOWN — A cellist duo and group of Chinese line dancers will each perform hour-long shows Tuesday in Bucktown, as part of the worldwide 'Make Music' event that's held annually on the Summer Solstice — the longest day of the year.

Described in a listing as playing classical music, with some folk, Latin American and jazz mixed in, the Cellenium Ensemble will perform from 4-5 p.m. Tuesday in Senior Citizens Memorial Park, at 2228 N. Oakley Ave.

"The 168 Fitness team," a group of line dancers who exercise to Chinese pop music, will perform line dances from 7-8 p.m.

Senior Citizens Memorial Park is just north of the Holstein Park pool and field house.

In the event of rain, the shows will move to "a sheltered place," organizers say.
