Brighton Park Robberies Lead To Warning From Police

BRIGHTON PARK — Police are looking for a man they believe robbed two people within a block of each other in the past week, according to a Tuesday community alert.

In each incident, a man walked up to someone in the street and robbed them, police said. 

The first robbery was reported at 12:40 a.m. June 7 in the 4500 block of South Rockwell Street, police said.

The second robbery was reported around 5:15 a.m. Monday in the 4600 block of South Rockwell Street.

Anyone with information on the robberies or the suspect is asked to call detectives at 312-747-8382.
