EDGEWATER — In the wake of the worst mass shooting in American history, which killed 50 people in a gay nightclub in Orlando while wounding more than 50 others, students at Senn High School's Magnet Fine Arts program in Edgewater are lifting their voices with the hopes to lift others.

Singing a powerful rendition of the hit "Seasons Of Love" from the musical "Rent," which centered around the stories of people in New York's LGBT community, the students posted the video to Facebook Monday along with the Leonard Bernstein quote: "This will be our reply to violence: to make music more intensely, more beautifully, more devotedly than ever before."

The students said they were sending "all of our positive thoughts, energy, and music" to the family members of those affected by the shooting.
