CHICAGO LAWN — A 25-year-old man was shot twice while walking in Chicago Lawn Tuesday night, police said.

Just after 10 p.m., the man was walking in the 6700 block of South Claremont Avenue when he heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

The man was brought to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition with gunshot wounds in his chest and left arm, Amezaga said.
