DUNNING — A Berwyn man was charged in connection with the shooting death of a man Memorial Day weekend at a Dunning gas station, officials said Monday.

Mulosmani Florin, 24, of the 1900 block of south Grove Avenue in Berwyn, has been charged with first-degree murder of Damien Cionzynski, 25, of Harwood Heights.

Florin was ordered held without bail Saturday.

At 5:15 a.m., Cionzynski was inside a gas station in the 6300 block of west Montrose Avenue when two men walked in, said Officer Bari Lemmon, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The victim and the two men argued, and one of the men took out a gun and shot the victim in the head.

Cionzynski died at the scene, Lemmon said.
