CHICAGO — Shootings left three people dead and eight wounded on Wednesday, police said.

At 9 p.m., a 19-year-old man was shot to death while sitting in a car in West Ridge

About 5 p.m., a shooting in South Shore left a 25-year-old man dead.

At 8:44 a.m., June saw its first homicide when 16-year-old Victor Felix was shot to death near his West Elsdon home.

Non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 11:30 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Englewood.

• Just five minutes earlier, at 11:25 p.m., a 14-year-old boy was standing outside in Englewood when he was shot.

• At 6:37 p.m., two men were shot in Back of the Yards.

• At 6:24 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in his head in Back of the Yards.

• At 6:05 p.m., a man and a teenager were shot in East Chatham.

• At 2:45 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Austin.
