Bridgeport Shooter Fires At Man, Hits Car Instead

BRIDGEPORT — Two men are on the run after they tried to shoot a man but missed, riddling at least two cars with bullet holes.

The shooting happed around 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1000 block of West 32nd Place. Police say the would-be victim was standing on the sidewalk when a passenger in a black sedan stuck a gun out the window and pulled the trigger.

Bullets struck the man’s car, denting the doors and flattening the tires.

The sedan then fled west down 32nd Place.

No one is in custody.
