NORTH PARK — Movies don't get more classic than "Bringing Up Baby," starring Cary Grant and Katherine Hepburn at their screwball comedy best.
The flick screens at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, kicking off the Northwest Chicago Film Society's summer slate of movies at Northeastern Illinois University.
The film society presents classic and rare movies in 35mm prints. Cost is $5 or $2 with NEIU ID.

• May 31, "Bringing Up Baby," directed by Howard Hawks.
• June 14, "Killer of Sheep," an influential independent film that portrays a slice of life of a family in Watts.
• June 21, "Love in the Afternoon," starring Audrey Hepburn, directed by Billy Wilder.
• June 28, "The Student Nurses," sly feminist comedy.
• July 6, "Brute Force," "prison noir" movie starring Burt Lancaster and Hume Cronyn.
• July 13, "Ferry Cross the Mersey," rare screening of the "poor man's 'Hard Day's Night,'" starring Gerry and the Pacemakers.
• July 20, "The Bedroom Window," from director William C. de Mille (brother of Cecil).
• July 27, "The Road Back," this sequel to "All Quiet on the Western Front" was suppressed and censored for decades.
• Aug. 3, "Chinese Roulette," from director R.W. Fassbinder, in German with English subtitles.
• Aug. 17, "Breathless," starring Richard Gere.
• Aug. 24, "The Missouri Breaks," starring Jack Nicholson and Marlon Brando, directed by Arthur Penn.
• Aug. 31, "Zaza," directed by George Cukor.
