STREETERVILLE — Summer just got a bit more cinematic with the news that Rooftop Cinema Club is coming to Chicago.

The London-based company made the announcement Wednesday on Time Out, who are the exclusive ticket seller for the summer film series. Chicago's rooftop movies will be shown at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, located at 300 E. Ohio St. in Streeterville.

The rooftop movies will run June 15 through July 17 with screenings happening Wednesday through Sunday nights at 8:30 p.m. General admission tickets are $15 plus a booking fee. A $25 ticket gets moviegoers a drink and unlimited popcorn with admission.

The first week of movies shown will be films near and dear to Chicagoans, such as "The Blues Brothers," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "High Fidelity." Other notable hits during the run include "The Big Lebowski," "Pulp Fiction" "Purple Rain," "Coming to America," and "Top Gun."
