3 Robberies in East Hyde Park Have Police Looking For 2 Men

HYDE PARK — Police are looking for two men who are believed to be behind three robberies since May 11 in East Hyde Park.

In two of the instances the robbers pulled a handgun, and in all three cases they robbed the victims and then ran to a waiting white or tan car, according to police.

Police said victims described two black men, ages 18-32, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 and weighing 140-180 pounds.

The robberies happened at:

• 3 a.m. on May 11 on the 5100 block of South Hyde Park Boulevard

• 11:40 p.m. Sunday on the 5000 block of South East End Avenue

• 12:40 a.m. Tuesday on the 5100 block of South Cornell Avenue
