Politicians To Discuss The State Of Uptown Friday

UPTOWN — Aldermen from every corner of Uptown will be in attendance at the State of Uptown luncheon Friday from noon-2 p.m. Friday at Pho Viet, 4941 N. Broadway.

The annual event convenes members of Uptown's business, development and nonprofit communities "to hear from city officials about how their work impacts our community," according to the website for the event.

Ald. Harry Osterman (48th), Ald. Ameya Pawar (47th), Ald. James Cappleman (46th) and commissioner David Reifman from the Department of Planning and Development will all attend the meeting.

Tickets are $25-$30 and include lunch from Pho Viet.
