CHICAGO — Separate Irving Park shootings left two men injured between Thursday and Friday, police said.
• At 2:02 a.m. Friday, a 27-year-old man was walking out of his apartment building in the 4300 block of West Belmont Avenue when he heard gunshots, said Officer Laura Amezaga, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
The man's arm was grazed by a bullet and a friend drove him to Community First Medical Center, Amezaga said. The man was going to be treated and released.
No one was in custody in the shooting.
• At 5:45 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot and wounded in the 4600 block of West Belmont Avenue, according to the Chicago Tribune. The man's buttocks were grazed by a bullet and he refused medical attention.
