LINCOLN PARK — Police are looking for a man they say committed two strong-arm robberies on CTA Red Line trains in Lincoln Park.

At least twice, police said, the man waited until someone was sitting alone on a train and took belongings by force.

The robberies occurred in the "early morning hours" of April 12 and April 21, near the Fullerton and North/Clybourn stops, respectively.

Police described the robber as a black man in his 30s, standing about 6-foot-2 and weighing about 200 pounds. At the time of the robberies, he was wearing a light-colored sweatshirt and dark jeans.

Anyone with information about the robberies is encouraged to call Area Central detectives at 312-747-8382.
