CHICAGO — Four people were wounded in shootings on the South Side on Wednesday.

The gunfire started at 12:55 p.m. when a 60-year-old man was shot while riding his bike in Englewood, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

In other shootings:

• At 11:35 p.m., a 55-year-old man was shot during an argument in Roseland, Pacheco said. The victim was in an apartment in the 10700 block of South Eberhart Avenue when he and a man he knows got into an argument and the man shot him.

The victim was shot in his legs and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center. His condition was not released but he was listed as "stable," Pacheco said.

• At 9:58 p.m., a 23-year-old man was shot while walking in Englewood, Pacheco said.

• At 9:17 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in Washington Park, Pacheco said. The boy was seen running from an alley and collapsing in the 6000 block of South Calumet Avenue.

The teen was shot in his back and was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was in serious condition, Pacheco said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.
