NAVY PIER — The search for a missing 21-year-old college student ended Tuesday when authorities identified a body pulled from Lake Michigan.
The body found in the lake near Navy Pier was identified as Jessica Suarez, of West Ridge, who went missing Feb. 25 after heading to the lakefront to jog, said officials with the medical examiner.
Suarez, who graduated from Lane Tech in 2013 and was enrolled in the nursing program at Harold Washington College, was last seen leaving her home in the 6100 block of North Talman Avenue to run on Foster Beach.
Suarez was a student at Harold Washington City College, where she was in the nursing program, according to her family.
A Facebook group dedicated to finding Suarez had not been updated since March 15.
