LINCOLN SQUARE — Uptown's Rainbo Roller Rink has been gone for more than a decade, but it's not forgotten.

Former employees, patrons and Cale Carvell, son of the rink's original owner, will share stories and memories at 1 p.m. Saturday during a panel discussion at Sulzer Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Ave.

The Rainbo, 4812 N. Clark St., closed in 2003. The roller rink was the last in a long string of entertainment venues to occupy the building, which opened in 1921 as a nightclub.
