DOWNTOWN — The Eisenhower Expry. will have lanes closed for construction over the weekend.

The closures will start Friday night, according to a news release from the Illinois Department of Transportation. They are part of a construction project on the Halsted Street bridge over the expressway.

Here are the details:

• The Eisenhower's left lane between Racine and Halsted will be closed 10 p.m. Friday-5 a.m. Monday.

• The left two lanes between Racine and Halsted will be closed 1-7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. There will be a detour for drivers.

• All lanes will be open an hour before the Blackhawks game and an hour after it ends on Saturday.

Drivers should expect delays, the Illinois Department of Transportation said.
