Man Hit By Falling Concrete Underneath Trump Tower, Police Say

RIVER NORTH — A man was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after getting hit in the head by falling concrete underneath the Trump International Hotel & Tower, police said. 

The 48-year-old man was walking his bicycle at about 3:15 p.m. along the 400 block of North Lower Wabash Avenue when he was struck by concrete debris falling from above, said Michelle Tannehill, a Chicago police spokeswoman. The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition with a cut on his head. 

The man was traveling underneath the 92-story tower at 401 N. Wabash Ave., Tannehill said.
