CHICAGO — A man armed with a gun carjacked a 25-year-old mother and her baby on the West Side before sexually assaulting the woman, police said.
Police said the woman was getting out of her car with her baby ay 3:45 a.m. March 27 in the 200 block of North Kenneth Avenue when the man walked up and forced them back into the car at gunpoint.
With the baby still inside, the man then drove the car away and sexually assaulted the woman before getting out of the car near Congress Parkway and Kolmar Avenue, police said.
The attacker was described as a black man ages 40-50, 5-foot-9 to 6-foot tall with some facial hair. He was wearing jeans, a black skull cap, a hooded sweatshirt and a black jacket with a white logo — possibly North Face — on the rear right shoulder, police said.
