CHICAGO — The Stevenson Expy. has been reduced to one lane between the Dan Ryan Expy. and Lake Shore Drive.
The lane closures are part of emergency repairs, according to a news release from the Illinois Department of Transportation. The repairs should be done by the end of the day.
Drivers should avoid traveling in the area, according to IDOT. Anyone who does drive in the area should pay close attention to signs, look for workers and pay attention to the posted speed limits.
