JEFFERSON PARK — Inbound Blue Line train service was restored after blockage between the Harlem and Jefferson Park stations Monday morning, CTA officials said.

Full service was restored around 9:25 a.m., according to Catherine Hosinski, a CTA spokeswoman.

After a tire fell onto the tracks from the Kennedy Expressway, officials said, trains from O'Hare did not make it past the Harlem station. Service is  between Jefferson Park and Forest Park was not interrupted.

Free shuttle buses were running in lieu of train service between the Harlem and Jefferson Park stations, Hosinski said.
