JEFFERSON PARK — Comedian Ralphie May will headline a fundraiser Friday for Ignite the Spirit, a charity that assists the families of Chicago firefighters injured in the line of duty.

May — known for his raunchy wit and stand-up routines that often poke fun at his girth — is touring the country in support of his Netflix stand-up comedy special "Unruly."

Chicago comedians Pat Tomasulo and Gwen La Roka will open the show set to start at 7 p.m. Friday at the Copernicus Center, 5216 W. Lawrence Ave., in Jefferson Park.

Tickets, which range from $20-$65, are available online.
