Man Charged In North Lawndale Shooting, Police Say

NORTH LAWNDALE — A man has been charged in relation to a Friday shooting on the West Side, police announced Sunday.

Around 3:15 p.m. Friday, police said, three men were driving a gray sedan in the 3700 block of West Grenshaw Street when Dwon Wright, 18, allegedly shot at them.

The victims included an 18-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the arm and back; a 20-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back; and a 21-year-old man with a graze wound to the head, police said.

All three men were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

Wright, of the 3400 block of West Grenshaw Street, will face one felony charge of aggravated battery, police said.
