NORWOOD PARK — A 23-year-old man was shot on the Far Northwest Side late Sunday night, police said.

Around 11:30 p.m., the man was standing in the 6000 block of North Elston Avenue when someone walked up and shot him in his leg, according to Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.
