Burglars Hit 7 Homes Along 2 Blocks of Humboldt Boulevard: Police

LOGAN SQUARE — Seven home burglaries have been reported along a short stretch of Humboldt Boulevard since January, police wrote in a community alert issued Saturday.

In each case, police said, burglars got into residences through vestibules, basements or yards and stole bicycles and other items.

The burglaries were reported at all hours of the day in the 1600 and 1800 blocks of North Humboldt Boulevard, between Jan. 8 and Feb. 22.

• 1643 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Jan. 8 at 1 p.m.
• 1838 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Jan. 18 at 9 a.m.
• 1627 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Jan. 25 at 11:32 a.m.
• 1836 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Jan. 30 at 3 p.m.
• 1834 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Feb. 6 at 1:40 p.m.
• 1836 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Feb. 9 at 10 p.m.
• 1832 N. Humboldt Blvd. on Feb. 22 at 2 p.m.
