CHICAGO — One person has been killed and 14 others wounded in shootings since Saturday, police said.

A shooting in Auburn Gresham left one man dead and a woman seriously wounded, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

In non-fatal shootings:

• Most recently, at 4 a.m. Sunday, a 30-year-old man was shot in Roseland, Sedevic said. The man was sitting in the passenger seat of a car in the 9500 block of South Lafayette Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was taken to St. Bernard Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition with a gunshot wound in his right shoulder, Sedevic said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 2:20 a.m., a 17-year-old was shot in South Chicago, Sedevic said. The teen was standing on the sidewalk in the 7900 block of South East End Avenue when a man walked up and shot at the teen, hitting him in the back of his head and back.

The teen was taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The teen is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 1:35 a.m., a 39-year-old man was shot in North Lawndale, Sedevic said. The man was sitting in the passenger seat of a parked car in the 1200 block of South Springfield Avenue when a man walked up, asked to sit in the car's back seat, took out a gun and opened fire.

The victim was shot in his right hip and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 12:55 a.m., a 21-year-old woman was shot in Montclare, Sedevic said. The woman was standing on the sidewalk in the 2800 block of North Oak Park Avenue when she heard shots and felt pain.

The woman was taken to Community First Medical Center. She was in "stable" condition with a gunshot wound in her right foot, Sedevic said.

• At 10:20 p.m. Saturday, a 21-year-old man was shot in Englewood, Sedevic said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 7300 block of South Sangamon Street when two men walked up and fired shots at the man.

The victim was hit in his buttocks and right arm and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 9:23 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Austin, Sedevic said. The teen was sitting in the rear passenger seat of a parked car in the 5000 block of West Thomas Street when a green sedan drove by and someone inside shot at the car.

The teen was hit in his left thigh and right hand. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

• At 9 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Belmont Cragin, Sedevic said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 4800 block of West Barry Avenue when two men walked up and fired shots.

The man was hit in his lower left leg and was taken to Community First Medical Center in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 5:32 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was shot in North Lawndale, Sedevic said. The woman was outside in the 3700 block of West 13th Street when she heard shots and felt pain, Sedevic said.

The woman was shot in her leg and went to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was in good condition, Sedevic said.

• At 4:45 p.m., a 22-year-old man was shot in Little Village, Sedevic said. The man was in the 3000 block of South Harding Avenue when he was shot in his leg. He went to Rush University Medical Center, where he was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The wound was possibly self-inflicted, police said.

No further information was immediately available.

• At 3:54 p.m., a 24-year-old man was shot in Auburn Gresham, Sedevic said. The man was walking down the street in the 8300 block of South Ada Street when he heard shots and felt pain.

The man was shot in his wrist and went to Advocate Christ Medical Center. He was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

• At 2:30 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in South Shore, Sedevic said. The teen was standing outside in the 7300 block of South Jeffrey Boulevard when a green or blue car drove up and a passenger shot at the teen.

The teen was shot in his groin and was taken to Northwestern Hospital. He was in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

The teen is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 1:30 p.m., two men were shot in West Englewood, Sedevic said. They were outside in the 5700 block of South Winchester Avenue when a car drove up and someone inside fired at the men.

A 48-year-old man was shot in his leg and was taken to Provident Hospital, where he was in serious condition, Sedevic said.

A 41-year-old man was shot in his left foot and was taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where he was in good condition, Sedevic said.

No one was in custody in these shootings.

In cases where police listed victims in "stable condition," authorities could not provide information on the extent of their injuries.
