GARFIELD PARK— A 17-year-old was wounded in a shooting in Garfield Park Tuesday, police said.

At 8:20 p.m. the teen was in the 4700 block of West Erie when someone walked up to him and shot him in his shoulder, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. The teen walked into West Suburban Hospital and was listed in "stable" condition, Pacheco said.

No one is in custody for the shooting, Pacheco said.
