LINCOLN PARK — Chances are you haven't yet fulfilled your New Year's resolution of doing more volunteer work.

Luckily, the annual Chicago Volunteer Expo is coming up.

This year's installment is set for Feb. 28 at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum, 2430 N. Cannon Drive.

From 10 a.m.-4 p.m., people looking to do volunteer work can interact with representatives from more than 85 local nonprofits, ranging from Chicago Women's Health Center to Friends of the Forest Preserves.

There will also be a couple opportunities to volunteer on the spot by turning plastic bags into functional sleeping mats for Chicago's homeless and donating blood to American Red Cross.

Those who come out will get free admission to the nature museum.
