BRIDGEPORT — Chicago-born bluesman and actor Jake La Botz will serenade the neighborhood on Valentine's Day.

Known for his role as Conway Twitty in HBO's "True Detective" and his original song "Hard to Love What You Kill" in the film-adaptation of "On The Road," the Shimer College graduate will play a free show at Jackalope Coffee & Tea House at 6 p.m. Sunday.

This is a BYOB event, and the coffee bar will be selling regular items.
