CHICAGO— Four people were wounded in shootings across Chicago since Tuesday, police said.

Most recently, a West Ridge shooting left a 20-year-old man wounded Wednesday, said Officer Janel Sedevic, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

At 2 a.m., the man was sitting in a parked car in the 2300 block of West Arthur Avenue when three men approached him and one pulled out a gun and shot him, Sedevic said.

The man was shot in the leg and shoulder and took himself to St. Francis Hospital where he was listed in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

At 7:15 p.m., a 20-year-old man was wounded in a Humboldt Park shooting Tuesday evening, Sedevic said.

The man was in the 1200 block of North Washtenaw Avenue when he heard shots and felt pain, Sedevic said. The man was shot in his back and taken to Stroger Hospital where he was listed in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

At 3:15 p.m., a 36-year-old man was wounded in a shooting in Woodlawn Tuesday afternoon, Sedevic said.

The man was walking in the 6200 block of South Evans Avenue when someone walked up and shot him, Sedevic said. He was hit the abdomen and leg and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, Sedevic said.

At 1:53 p.m., a 38-year-old woman was shot in the head in the 300 block of East 134th Street in Eden Green, Sedevic said. The woman was a passenger in the vehicle when someone in a white sedan fired shots in her direction, Sedevic said. The woman was taken to Christ Medical Center where she was listed in "stable" condition, Sedevic said.

No one is in custody for any of the shootings, Sedevic said.
