HUMBOLDT PARK— Separate Humboldt Park shootings left one man dead and two wounded on Sunday, police said.

At 12:45 p.m., two men, 21 and 20, were in an alley near the 3900 block of West Augusta Boulevard when three men approached and shot at them, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman.

Dwight Hughes Jr., 21, of the 3400 block of West Foster Avenue was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:06 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

The 20-year-old man, who was shot in the arm, head, and torso, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he is listed in "stable" condition, Pacheco said. 

Both men are  documented gang members and the older man was a convicted felon, police said.

At 7:11 p.m., a 29-year-old man was getting out of a vehicle in the 900 block of North Fairfield Avenue when he was shot, Pacheco said. The man, who shot in the face, chest and hand, was taken to Stroger Hospital where he is listed in "stable" condition. 

He is a documented gang member, police said.

No one is in custody for the shootings, Pacheco said.
