By Kelly Bauer | February 4, 2016 9:28am

CHICAGO — A shooting in Garfield Park early Thursday left a 28-year-old man wounded, police said.

At 12:08 a.m., the man was sitting in a white van parked at a gas station in the 3300 block of West Harrison Street, said Officer Ana Pacheco, a Chicago Police spokeswoman. A man in a silver sedan fired at the victim.

The victim was shot in his left shoulder and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Pacheco said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

No one was in custody.

No reported shootings have left people injured or killed since then, Pacheco said.
