CHICAGO — Police are looking for the driver of a van who hit a 72-year-old woman in Marquette Park on Jan. 19 and then drove away.

At 2:05 p.m., the woman was hit by the van while crossing the street in the 6400 block of South Kedzie Avenue, according to a Chicago Police alert. The woman was fatally injured and the driver of the van drove off without helping the woman.

The vehicle was a light-colored, 1999-2003 Chrysler Town and Country minivan, police said. The minivan possibly had windshield damage to the upper passenger side after the crash. The passenger side headlight might also be damaged.
