HYDE PARK — One of the best cheap vegetarian lunches in Hyde Park has restarted for the winter.

Every Wednesday at noon, the Divinity School at the University of Chicago hosts a three-course vegetarian lunch for $5, with the bonus of some really interesting conversation with curators, seminarians, ballerinas and others.

The lunches restarted on Jan. 13 with a talk with former Chair of the Department of Photography of the The Art Institute of Chicago after dessert was served in Swift Hall, 1025 E. 58th St.

Meals like rosemary and sea salt focaccia; butternut salad with pomegranate seeds, pistachio nuts, and cider dressing; cauliflower and brown rice gratin; and oatmeal carmelitas are open to anyone who knows the e-mail to register for lunch.

The next lunch is with Randall K. Blakey, the executive pastor at LaSalle Street Church. The topic of conversation and menu have yet to be announced.

To reserve a spot, email divinitylunch@gmail.com.

A full schedule of speakers is available online at the Divinity School’s website.
