HERMOSA — A 37-year-old man was discovered shot to death inside an apartment in Hermosa Friday night, police said.
Around 9:45 p.m., police found the man lying on the floor with a gunshot wound in his armpit in the residence in the 4500 block of West Deming Place, according to Officer Jose Estrada, a Chicago Police spokesman.
The man was pronounced dead on scene, Estrada said.
Cook County medical examiners identified the man as Matthew Ehrenberg, of the same address.
No one is in custody and a homicide investigation is underway, Estrada said.
