CHICAGO — Four people have been killed and nine wounded in shootings since Tuesday, police said.

Five teens were killed or wounded in the shootings, including two teenagers who were killed and a 16-year-old boy who was wounded in a shooting in South Shore on Tuesday afternoon.

A 25-year-old man was killed in an evening drive-by shooting in Brighton Park.

A 23-year-old man was shot in his face and killed after a fight in Back of the Yards.

In nonfatal shootings:

• Most recently, early Wednesday, a man was shot while standing at a bus stop in Wicker Park.

• At 6:50 p.m. Tuesday, a 23-year-old man was shot in South Lawndale, said Officer Jose Estrada, Chicago Police spokesman. The man was standing near a parked car in the 4100 block of West 30th Street when a dark-colored car pulled up and someone inside fired a gun at the man.

The man was hit in his left leg, right foot and buttocks and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 6:30 p.m., a 25-year-old man was shot in Grand Boulevard, Estrada said. The man was walking on the sidewalk in the 600 block of East 47th Street when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside shot at the man.

The man was hit in his right arm and taken to Northwestern Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

• At 5:30 p.m., a 17-year-old was shot in Belmont Cragin, Estrada said. The teen was outside in the 2600 block of North McVicker Avenue when someone walked up, shot at him and ran away.

The teen was hit in his chest and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where he was in serious condition, Estrada said.

The teen is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 4:52 p.m., a 20-year-old man was shot in Austin, Estrada said. The man was in a car in the 300 block of North Central Avenue when someone walked up and shot at the man.

The man was hit in his shoulder, and he took himself to West Suburban Hospital, where he was in good condition, Estrada said.

• At 12:25 p.m., an 18-year-old man was dropped off at Jackson Park Hospital after being shot in South Shore, Estrada said. The man was walking in the 7400 block of South Blackstone Avenue when he saw a dark green SUV driving by. Someone inside the car fired a gun at the man "numerous" times, Estrada said.

The man was hit in his leg and was taken to the hospital, where he was in good condition, Estrada said.

The man is a documented gang member, police said.

• At 7:24 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, Estrada said. The man was standing on the sidewalk in the 4000 block of West Madison Street when a man walked up, shot the victim and ran away.

The victim was hit in his abdomen and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, Estrada said.

The victim is a documented gang member, police said, and the shooting might be gang-related.

• At 6:40 a.m., a 43-year-old man was shot in Garfield Park, Estrada said. The man was standing near his car in the 4400 block of West Monroe Street when someone began shooting in his direction.

The man was hit in the right side of his torso and his right arm, Estrada said. He drove himself to the Harrison District police station, where he asked for help. He was then taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was in "stable" condition, Estrada said.

No one is in custody in these shootings.
